You may not know it, but Williams now has seven veterans as full-time students. How did they find Williams (or Williams find them) and what is life like at Williams for individuals who served in the armed forces and are starting their college experience in their mid to late 20’s?

On Wednesday, November 10, we heard the answers to those questions from Cara and Zach Sturdevant, “Navy nukes” who decided to become Williams students this Fall. Dean Liz Creighton and Alex DiAddezio from the College’s admissions department discussed the role the college is playing in attracting more veterans to apply to Williams.  The discussion was moderated by our own Jack Sands, who has set up a fund to support the recruitment of veterans to Williams.
