Our total Class of 1971 50th Reunion Class Gift: Ten years back and five years forward!

For 50^th Reunion Classes, Williams broadens gift crediting and ways to give beyond that of any other reunion year, allowing our class to celebrate a significant gift total and giving every classmate the opportunity to participate.

The 50th Reunion Class Gift that will be announced during our 50th Reunion will be the sum of every gift to every purpose that every member of the class makes during the ten-year period beginning after our 40^th Reunion and ending before our 50^th Reunion. That total will include outright gifts, planned gifts, and multi-year pledges.

The Class of 1971 50^th Reunion Class Gift will include the three gift streams shown in the diagram:

1. The Class of 1971 50^th Reunion Fund to support three high-priority Williams goals
2. Williams Alumni Fund contributions from ’71 classmates
3. Individual donor-designated gifts to Williams from ’71 classmates.

1. The Class of 1971 50th Reunion Fund will support these three Williams purposes:

• Supporting Student Summer Science Research
• Supporting Students Interested in Careers in Public Service
• Supporting Student Scholarships

Each classmate can choose to designate 50^th Reunion Fund gifts to one or more of these purposes, or to make a gift to the 50^th Reunion Fund that is undesignated. Pledges up to five years beyond our 50th Reunion will also be counted.

2. Williams Alumni Fund

Every annual contribution our classmates have made or will make to the Williams Alumni Fund during the ten-year period beginning after our 40^th Reunion and ending before our 50^th reunion will count toward the total Class of 1971 50th Reunion Class Gift to Williams. Pledges up to five years beyond our 50th Reunion will also be counted.

3. Individual Donor Designations

Every ’71 classmate’s gift made for any purpose during the ten-year period beginning after our 40^th Reunion and ending before our 50^th reunion will count toward the total Class of 1968 50th Reunion Class Gift to Williams. Pledges up to five years beyond our 50th Reunion will also be counted.
