We had a multi-class Zoom on May 19 at 5:30 PM (EDT) recalling and discussing the May 5, 1970 Strike!

Panelists included our own Russ Pulliam (Editor-in Chief of Williams Record), as well as Jim Lobe ’70, Steve Cohen ’73 (moderator) and Terry Perlin, Professor of History at Williams in May, 1970.  See brief bios below.

Our Panelists:

Moderator Steve Cohen ‘73 teaches at Tufts and has a special interest in Vietnam and the history of political dissent in America.

Terry Perlin, a Williams professor of History in 1970, who is now Emeritus Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Miami University of Ohio and a specialist in medical ethics, will join us to provide his own views and a faculty perspective.

 Jim Lobe ’70, was one of the key leaders of the Williams strike.
