Paul Lieberman reports “a friend discovered this ancient issue of the Gul at a yard sale. Before I turned it over to the college archives, I scanned in selected pages but especially the ads at the end, which provide an intriguing glimpse into life at the college in the century before we arrived in Williamstown. The lingering question, of course: a half century after we departed, do our experiences seem like ancient history, as well, to the students of today?”
